Write for us
Tidy Earthling welcomes pitches that make a household object, habit, or choice easier to understand, with a useful idea readers can try without special expertise.
What makes a strong pitch
Propose one clear question and explain what a reader will understand or be able to do after reading. We favour distinct, evergreen subjects about reuse, care, repair, materials, buying choices, or passing things along. Name the limits of the idea and avoid promises that it will work for every home.
A voice that fits
Write with curiosity, care, and a willingness to say when an experiment fails. We welcome clear explanations, comparisons, and well-shaped practical pieces; unsupported claims, product promotion, and advice requiring specialist or local approval are not a fit.
How to send an idea
Send proposals through the Contact page. Include a working title, a short outline, why the topic suits Tidy Earthling, and any relevant experience or potential conflicts to disclose. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication.
A lighter footprint starts close to hand
Small household choices are worth examining, not perfecting. We try ideas at an ordinary scale and make room for the ones that do not work.
